I am delighted to present this testimonial, reflecting on my daughter’s wonderful journey of over three years at ELCHK Cheung Wah Kindergarten.

From he outset. the school showed exceptional care and passion, not only for enrolled pupils but also for prospective ones. My daughter, who is naturally sensitive o ew experiences, was warmly welcomed even before her official enrolment. We were invited to join school activities such as the Mid-Autumn Festival and Christmas party a year before she started. These thoughtful gestures greatly reduced her anxiety and helped her develop a positivc impression of kindergarten life. As a result, she was emotionally ready and excited for her very first day of Kl.

Throughout her time at the kindergarten, regular parent-child co- learning activities allowed us to witness our children’s learning first-hand and provide feedback to further enhance pupil engagement. I am particularly impressed by the teachers’ commitment to fostering autonomy, allowing children to choose activities and giving them ample opportunities and time to explore and learn.

Personalised learning is a true strength of ELCHK Cheung Wah Kindergarten. The teachers recognise that every child is unique and not simply a product of standardised cducation. When my daughter encountered challenges with pronunciation, the school worked closely with university researchers, speech therapists. and us as parents to provide timely and professional support. This collaborative approach resolved the issue efficiently .

The school also promotes a love of reading. engaging both pupils and parents through various reading activities and recognition. This has inspired my daughter to enjoy reading, and we now make it a habit to visit libraries whenever we travel.

As a parent and educator, I believe in treating my child as a learning partner, encouraging knowledge co-creation, innovation, and problem-solving rather than rote learning. 1 am grateful that the kindergarten’s approach aligns with these values, especially heir emphasis on emotional kills and wellbeing, which are essential for lifelong learing.
